Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Minimum one year of events coordination or concierge experience
- Minimum one year of food and beverage service experience
- Ability to work on-site
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds across short to medium distances
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective conflict resolution and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Passion for exceptional guest service
- CPR certification preferred
- Bar knowledge and liquor serving experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- College degree in Hospitality or Travel and Tourism preferred
- At least one year of events coordination or concierge experience
- Experience with a four star or higher rated hotel preferred
- At least one year of experience in food and beverage service
- Bar knowledge and liquor service experience preferred
- CPR certification and Heimlich maneuver proficiency preferred
- Effective conflict resolution and organizational skills
- Professional, cooperative demeanor with positive and energetic attitude
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good to excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
Job Duties
- Exhibit a great personality with an engaging smile
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and uphold high standards to create an incredible guest experience
- Communicate proactively with hotel and resort departments regarding guest needs
- Create a welcoming lounge environment
- Complete Club Concierge checklist tasks and paperwork proficiently
- Handle multiple tasks while maintaining organization and prioritizing effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Club lounge
- Greet Sanctuary guests promptly and appropriately
- Accurately check guests in and out of the hotel according to standards
- Maintain discretion and security for the hotel and guests
- Book and change or cancel reservations accurately
- Assist guests in resolving accommodation complaints and reservation/package concerns
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Sanctuary rooms and facilities
- Record and deliver packages, faxes, and messages to guests
- Coordinate execution and delivery of guest special requests and amenities
- Assist guests with transportation, golf, tennis, spa, dining, event tickets, babysitters, and medical appointments
- Maintain knowledge of resort amenities and local attractions
- Maintain reference materials and brochures in Club lounge
- Monitor group reservations and activities
- Operate Front Office equipment and software proficiently
- Answer and respond to telephone calls appropriately
- Assist in meal setup and replenishment
- Serve food and beverages adeptly
- Maintain familiarity with The Sanctuary's wine list
- Attend Concierge Association events and network
- Respond to security and emergency situations per guidelines
- Comply with Front Office Manual procedures and resort policies
- Perform all other duties as assigned
