Job Requirements
- Pass Level 2 background screening through Florida Department of Children & Families
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Ability to work 40 hours per week including evenings and some weekends
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a personal motor vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible work environment
- High energy, motivated, dedicated, and positive work ethic
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a youth development organization or similar role
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing and leading a team
- Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and database management
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work evenings and some weekends
- Experience managing budgets and resources
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Adopt the Formula for Impact and ensure the club reaches kids who need us the most
- Establish club programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success
- Implement daily program schedule and ensure staff coverage
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment including maintenance of facilities and equipment
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate club programs and services
- Compile regular reports on activities, attendance, and participation
- Manage club financial resources including budget development and expenditure control
- Follow club policies and procedures and maintain operational systems
- Support training and development opportunities for staff and volunteers
- Conduct regular staff meetings to foster a team environment
- Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders, and organizations
- Maintain public relations to increase club visibility
- Handle member discipline and provide counseling as needed
- Maintain contact with community groups, schools, and parents
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Participate in BGCA and internal trainings and meetings
- Support grant deliverables and provide data for reporting
- Complete additional assignments as requested by management
