This job opportunity is with an independent franchisee who owns and operates a McDonald’s restaurant. It is important to understand that this franchisee operates independently of McDonald’s USA, holding a license to use McDonald’s logos, brand, and food products to run the restaurant. As such, any employment relationship here is directly with the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, and staffing.
