Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial service preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests and other associates
  • Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach on a continuous basis up to an 8-hour shift

Job Duties

  • Maintain service closets and room attendants ' carts with linen and supplies
  • Remove soiled items from vacant dirty rooms and room attendant carts
  • Replace hangers and robes in guest rooms
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • Clean / vacuum / dust guest hallways
  • Deep clean rooms
  • Prepare VIP arrivals
  • Turn in lost and found items
  • Assist guests and members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain equipment and report problems or service needs to supervisors
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors/ managers
  • Keep work area neat and clean
  • Assist in other areas assigned by manager
  • Move furniture when requested by manager
  • Report safety concerns to manager
