Job Requirements
- Masters degree
- Advanced license required
- Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), or licensed professional counselor (LPC), or licensed marriage and family counselor (LMFC), or licensed independent social worker (LISW)
- Experience in psychiatric therapy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Ability to work on a PRN/Per Diem basis
Job Qualifications
- Masters degree

- Experience in one-on-one, family, and group counseling sessions
- Knowledge of state commitment and guardianship processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Familiarity with hospital code procedures
- Skills in training and mentoring staff
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Job Duties
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and care providers
- Maintain professionalism and resolve conflicts using good communication skills
- Maintain clear professional boundaries
- Provide education and guidance on state commitment processes, abuse reporting, duty to warn, and guardianship
- Demonstrate knowledge and participate in hospital codes
- Serve as an educational resource about behavioral health services
- Review, coach, and assist in training new staff and interns within approved guidelines
- Participate in utilization review
- Contribute to process and quality improvement initiatives
