Job Requirements
- Four years of related work experience, two of them in the same job family at the next lower level
- or two years of related work experience and an associate degree
- or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- excellent critical thinking and independent judgment
- ability to handle heavy phone volume
- proficiency in scheduling in electronic medical record systems
- active listening and written communication skills
- flexibility to work across multiple clinical areas
- proven attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years of related work experience or associate degree
- proficiency with electronic medical records such as Epic
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask and work in high volume phone environments
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- active listening skills
- written communication proficiency
- ability to work respectfully with diverse populations
- demonstrated reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Answer phones and greet patients and visitors
- schedule appointments in Epic system
- provide information to patients on policies and procedures
- monitor daily appointment access and adjust scheduling as necessary
- assist patients with forms and questions
- coordinate follow-up and complex scheduling needs including surgeries and diagnostic tests
- compile and maintain reports and data
- collaborate with management and clinical leadership
- provide oversight and instruction to support staff
- manage communication and interdepartmental coordination
