Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 5 years experience in veterinary medicine
- At least 1-2 years experience in emergency room or high-volume general practice environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patient families
- Competent in using multiple online platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for most of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in veterinary medicine or animal care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and operate various online systems
- Empathy and compassion in client interactions
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Preferred: registered veterinary technician or veterinary assistant certificate
- Preferred: formal training in communication or interpersonal de-escalation
- Preferred: Fear Free Certification
Job Duties
- Manage client communication and appointment scheduling
- Coordinate daily operations between medical staff and patients
- Provide empathetic support and education to pet owners
- Use multiple online platforms to streamline tasks
- Advocate for patient needs and care quality
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Assist in managing hospital workflow in a fast-paced environment
