Job Requirements
- washington state medical assistant-certified (MA-C)
- current BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- minimum one year experience in physician’s office or medical facility preferred
- willing to work 0.9 FTE with day shifts 8am-8pm
- able to obtain WA DOH MA-R certification within 45 days if applicable
- for Idaho applicants, current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
- WA state MA-C or MA-R license endorsed by Indigo within 30 days for Idaho roles
- exceptions for externship or residency program candidates with active or pending MA-R certification
Job Qualifications

- minimum one year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
- ability to work day shifts in a modern clinic environment
- excellent communication and collaboration skills
- commitment to patient-centered and ethical care
- completion of externship or residency program with active or pending MA-R certification is acceptable
Job Duties
- collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
- perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
- advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
- support the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance
- expand role through clinical tasks and coordinating patient care within the MA-C license scope
- integrate patient care with team-based care model
