Job Requirements
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Current BLS Certification or ability to obtain through in-house training
- Minimum one year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
- Exceptions may apply for externship or residency program participants with active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within seven days of hire
- Idaho candidates must have CMA certification by AAMA, NHA, or NCCT
- WA state MA-C or MA-R license required and endorsed by Indigo within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work the specified full-time equivalent schedule and shifts
- Must meet all regulatory compliance and maintain required certifications
Job Qualifications
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or equivalent Idaho state certification
- Current BLS Certification or willingness to obtain through in-house training
- Minimum one year experience in a physician's office or medical facility preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to advocate for patients' autonomy and dignity
- Commitment to ethical and holistic patient care
- Familiarity with clinic operations and patient care coordination
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and certification such as X-Ray training
Job Duties
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff, and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
- Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
- Support unit operations through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance
- Coordinate patient care and clinical tasks within MA-C license scope
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and clinical effectiveness
