Job Requirements

Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
current BLS certification or may be obtained through in-house training
minimum one year experience in physician's office or medical facility preferred
ability to obtain or possess certification within 45 days of hire if required
valid CMA certification (Idaho candidates) with required licensure endorsement within 30 days
exceptions may apply for externship or residency program participants with active or pending certification

Job Qualifications

Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license or current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
current BLS certification or ability to obtain through in-house training
minimum one year experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred
knowledge of clinical tasks within MA-C license scope
ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams
strong customer service skills
understanding of ethical and holistic patient care practices

Job Duties

Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
support clinic management through excellent patient customer service and assistance
