Job Requirements
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain through in-house training
- Minimum one year experience in a physician's office or medical facility preferred
- Exceptions considered for applicants in externship or residency with active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire
- Idaho applicants must have CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
- WA state MA-C or MA-R license required for Idaho employees with Indigo endorsement within 30 days
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including day shifts (8am-8pm, three 12-hour shifts)
- Valid certification and licensure maintained throughout employment
Job Qualifications

- Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain through in-house training
- Minimum one year experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred
- Exceptions possible for externship or residency program participants with active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials by AAMA, NHA or NCCT for Idaho state applicants
- WA State MA-C or MA-R license required with endorsement by Indigo within first 30 days for Idaho employees
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to ethical and patient-centered care
Job Duties
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
- Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
- Support clinic management assistance and maintain excellent patient customer service
- Assist with clinical tasks within the scope of MA-C license
- Participate in team-based care model activities to enhance patient outcomes
