Job Requirements

  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through in-house training
  • Minimum one year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
  • Exceptions made for applicants in externship or residency with active WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days and MA-C license within 45 days
  • Idaho State candidates must have current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
  • WA state MA-C or MA-R license required with endorsement by Indigo within 30 days
  • Flexible to work day shifts, including weekends
  • Ability to perform clinical and administrative tasks within scope
  • Commitment to excellent patient care and customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license or equivalent
  • Current BLS Certification or willingness to obtain through in-house training
  • Minimum one year experience in physician's office or medical facility preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
  • Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of standards, resources, and data
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting patient autonomy, dignity, and health from diverse backgrounds
  • Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
  • Support clinic management through excellent patient customer service
  • Coordinate patient care within MA-C license scope
  • Assist in clinic operations and patient flow management
