Job Requirements

  • PhD preferred in kinesiology or related field
  • master’s degree holders with strong pedagogical, clinical, research, or industry experience encouraged
  • two or more years of teaching or relevant applied experience
  • proven success contributing to positive workplace culture and alignment with school core values
  • ability to develop upper-level biomechanics content and lab experiences
  • applied or research experience in sports biomechanics
  • skills in course coordination, GSI training, lab management, curriculum development, and inclusive teaching initiatives

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • teach undergraduate core biomechanics courses including laboratory sections
  • develop and instruct elective courses in sports biomechanics
  • mentor and train graduate student instructors
  • contribute to curricular development and inclusive teaching initiatives
  • engage in administrative duties and service activities within the school and university
  • participate in professional scholarship and community service
  • attend faculty meetings and serve on committees
