Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year healthcare experience preferred
  • experience in admitting, medical records, or clerical support preferred
  • familiarity with medical terminology
  • strong communication skills
  • keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems
  • BLS certification preferred
  • ability to perform complex tasks with prioritization and discretion
  • self-directed and able to mentor others
  • capable of interfacing with physicians and staff
  • able to perform limited coding and charge entry

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year healthcare experience or equivalent education in admitting, medical records/health information, or clerical support
  • familiarity with medical terminology
  • strong communication skills
  • keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems
  • self-directed with initiative
  • passion for healthcare and patient-centered service

Job Duties

  • Scheduling patient appointments with accuracy and care
  • verifying insurance and handling patient registration
  • managing co-pay collections and balancing daily/weekly deposits
  • supporting front-office operations and serving as a resource for colleagues
  • assisting with limited coding and charge entry as needed
  • problem solving independently and mentoring others
  • interfacing regularly with physicians and other staff
