Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of health care experience or equivalent education preferred
  • Ability to perform complex scheduling, insurance verification, registration, and financial balancing tasks
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Passion for healthcare and patient-centered service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of healthcare experience or equivalent education in admitting, medical records/health information, clerical support, or familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with keyboarding and electronic health systems
  • BLS certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Scheduling patient appointments with accuracy and care
  • Verifying insurance and handling patient registration
  • Managing co-pay collections and balancing daily/weekly deposits
  • Supporting front-office operations and serving as a resource for colleagues
  • Assisting with limited coding and charge entry as needed
  • Problem solving independently and mentoring others
  • Interfacing regularly with physicians and staff
