Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of healthcare experience or equivalent education in admitting, medical records/health information, or applicable clerical support
  • strong communication skills
  • keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems
  • ability to multitask and prioritize complex tasks
  • self-directed with problem-solving abilities
  • commitment to patient-centered service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of healthcare experience or equivalent education in admitting, medical records/health information, or applicable clerical support
  • familiarity with medical terminology
  • strong communication skills
  • keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems
  • BLS certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Schedule patient appointments with accuracy and care
  • verify insurance and handle patient registration
  • manage co-pay collections and balance daily or weekly deposits
  • support front-office operations and serve as a resource for colleagues
  • assist with limited coding and charge entry as needed
  • prioritize and perform complex tasks with discretion
  • interface regularly with physicians and staff
