Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior front desk or clinical experience in a medical setting preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and see them through to completion despite frequent interruptions
- Familiar with verifying insurance and communicating with insurance companies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Able to maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA rules and regulations

Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, both in person, online, and over the phone
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using the clinic's scheduling system
- Verify and update patient information, including insurance details, in the EMR
- Accept co-pays and outstanding balances, providing receipts and maintaining accurate financial records
- Handle incoming calls and messages, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members and taking detailed messages and other documentation when necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring informational materials are up to date
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry as needed
