Job Requirements
- six months experience in an outpatient medical office or equivalent customer service experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- proficiency with keyboarding and computer software
- experience with standard office equipment
- familiarity with electronic practice management system preferred
- experience with multi-line or ACD phone systems
- medical terminology knowledge preferred
- ability to maintain current AHA CPR certification
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months experience in outpatient medical office or equivalent customer service role
- excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- keyboarding skills and computer proficiency
- familiarity with electronic practice management systems preferred
- experience using multi-line or ACD phone systems preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Job Duties
- answer incoming phone calls and route them appropriately
- provide customer service to patients, physicians, and clinic staff
- update and collect patient demographics and insurance information
- verify health plan eligibility
- take complete and accurate messages
- schedule appointments using an electronic practice management system
- perform clerical duties to support clinic operations
