Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to perform administrative duties professionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to follow clinic policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Perform patient check-in at the time of visit and complete all necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with clinic and regulatory policies
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule appointments according to office guidelines
- Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductible amounts at time of service
- Copy and scan patient access related documents into electronic medical records
- Prepare charts for patient appointments ensuring all information is complete
- Conduct patient check-out including pricing services, collecting payments, and scheduling follow-ups
- Perform record filing and retrieval and assist with electronic medical record documentation
- Confirm next day appointments and alert patients about necessary documentation and payment details
- Follow up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy and send out communications
- Perform other duties as assigned
