Job Duties
- perform patient check-in at the time of visit and complete all necessary paperwork to ensure efficient admitting process and compliance with clinic and regulatory policies
- answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- schedule appointments according to office guidelines
- obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays and deductible amounts
- copy or scan patient access related hardcopy materials into the correct location in the electronic medical record
- prepare charts for patient appointments ensuring all necessary information is complete
