Job Duties
- perform patient check-in and complete paperwork
- answer phone calls and direct appropriately
- schedule appointments according to office guidelines
- obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays and deductibles
- copy and scan patient documents into electronic medical records
- prepare charts for patient appointments
- conduct patient check-out including pricing services and collecting payments
- file and retrieve records and assist with electronic medical records filing
- confirm next day appointments and alert patients of required documentation
- follow up with patients regarding missed appointment policy and send communications
- perform other duties as assigned
