Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • perform patient check-in and complete admission paperwork
  • answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • schedule appointments according to office guidelines
  • obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays and deductible amounts
  • copy or scan patient access related documents into electronic medical records
  • prepare charts for patient appointments ensuring all necessary information is complete
  • conduct patient check-out duties including pricing, collecting payments and scheduling follow-ups
  • perform record filing and retrieval and assist with filing registration documentation
  • confirm next day appointments and inform patients about required documentation and payments
  • follow up with patients concerning missed appointments and send communications
  • perform other duties as assigned
