Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Two years of related experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical conduct
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems
- Capacity to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Willingness to assist with cleaning and other general duties
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in customer service or administrative roles
- Proficient communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work compassionately and patiently with distressed clients
- Competency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record-keeping
- Demonstrated ethical conduct and professionalism
- Flexibility and initiative in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism, ethics, and friendliness at all times
- Receive and assist the public both in person and by telephone, responding to inquiries and directing clients to appropriate team members or services
- Process client paperwork and authorizations during check-in, hospitalization, euthanasia, and check-out
- Monitor client flow by maintaining awareness of client locations, waiting times, and status
- Utilize hospital computer systems to maintain appointment schedules, client and patient records, and document communications
- Compassionately assist clients in various emotional states, including distressed or disgruntled clients
- Process client payments and check clients out
- Manage a multi-line phone system
- Ensure clear and timely communication between clients and medical staff
- Handle incoming emergency phone calls and direct them to the medical team as necessary
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining reception desk area, waiting room, restrooms, exam rooms, and general hospital cleanliness
