Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- prior experience in food service management
- strong leadership and team development skills
- excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- knowledge of financial management, budget control, and P&L statement preparation
- ability to meet safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
- ability to recruit, train, and retain staff
- proficiency in operational forecasting and cost control
- preferred bilingual skills in Spanish
- experience in managing multiple service areas
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- prior K-12/student nutrition experience preferred
- strong client and customer service focus
- entrepreneurship and business growth skills
- proven experience leading through other managers
- bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- experience in financial controls and budget management
- knowledge of product sales strategies
- experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams to maximize their contributions
- ensure services align with company executional framework
- coach employees to create shared understanding of goals and execution methods
- reward and recognize employees for performance
- ensure safety and sanitation standards are adhered to in all operations
- identify and respond to client needs, ensuring effective communication of operational progress
- adopt company processes and systems for financial management
- build revenue and manage budgets, including controlling food, beverage, and labor costs
- maintain and complete P&L statements
- achieve food and labor targets while ensuring quality and cost control
- implement and maintain labor and food initiatives
- create value through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- ensure compliance with operational excellence fundamentals
- oversee operations related to production, distribution, and food service
- maintain safe and healthy environment
- ensure compliance with policies, rules, and regulations
- establish systems for food ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, serving, and menu planning
- develop operational forecasts and explain variances
- coordinate and supervise personnel in production, merchandising, quality, cost control, labor management, and training
- recruit, hire, develop, and retain front-line team members
- conduct periodic inventory and maintain records
- interact with client management and maintain effective relationships
- participate in sales processes and contract negotiations
