Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles
- proficiency with computer software including practice management systems and Microsoft Office
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- knowledge of veterinary terms and procedures is an advantage
- empathetic and patient demeanor

Job Duties
- Greet clients warmly and professionally to create a welcoming atmosphere
- schedule appointments, surgeries, and procedures ensuring optimal utilization of staff and resources
- answer phone calls, address client inquiries, and provide information about services and policies
- manage client check-ins and check-outs, verify patient information, process payments, and provide invoices
- maintain accurate electronic and paper records including patient files and appointment logs
- handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry
- collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent client service
