Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2+ years experience in client service related field
- 1+ year veterinary hospital or animal healthcare experience preferred
- Strong verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Flexibility to work in a changing environment
- Ability to build relationships with clients and patients
- Friendly, outgoing, and team player mentality
- Good computer knowledge
Job Duties
- Greet visitors and answer telephones
- Guide clients and their pets to exam rooms
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Place outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients
- Present and explain fees and process payments
- Recommend, select, and obtain products and services including prescriptions
- Answer questions about products, services, and general animal care
- Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain hospital cleanliness including removal of animal waste
