Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years experience in client service related field
  • 1+ year veterinary hospital or animal healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work in a changing environment
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and patients
  • Friendly, outgoing, and team player mentality
  • Good computer knowledge

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and answer telephones
  • Guide clients and their pets to exam rooms
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Place outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients
  • Present and explain fees and process payments
  • Recommend, select, and obtain products and services including prescriptions
  • Answer questions about products, services, and general animal care
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Maintain hospital cleanliness including removal of animal waste
