  • Ability and interest to learn financial concepts and products

  • Ability to learn WEG's sales model
  • Ability to learn WEG/LPL processes and procedures
  • Ability to learn financial product features and riders
  • Ability to learn the review process and how reviews are completed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
  • Experience with Workday preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensures accurate completion of prospect / new client paperwork and set up
  • Follow up on funds transfer from surrendering company
  • Maintains CRM database and client files
  • Research and follow up on any issues with Broker/Dealer, WEG Operations, and vendors
  • Record incoming assets to appropriate blotting tool
  • Dialogues with client to understand their personal history and current financial needs
  • Prepares account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, RMDs
  • Communicates to understand client requests, determines actions needed, communicates to advisor or resolves issues, including death claim processing
  • Works with client’s tax or legal counsel on concerns
  • Gathers client data and prepares materials for client meetings and reviews
  • Conducts tax research (1099s)
  • Completes client review follow up needs
  • Demonstrates knowledge and executes WEG’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes and sales model
  • Understands financial terminology and products
  • Proficient in annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, charitable giving practices
  • Attends client services and company educational events
  • May attend vendor presentations
  • Assists Advisor Team Operations to streamline processes
  • Completes operational projects supporting enhancements and changes
  • Communicates process and sales updates to the team
  • Mentors and trains Client Service Associates
  • Manages vendors to Service Level Agreements
