Job Requirements

  • Must reside within 40 miles of Redmond or Seattle
  • full-time employment
  • must have the ability to travel internationally 30% or more
  • five years or more of global security experience preferred
  • able to work up to 16 hours per day when required
  • must be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends
  • ability to walk several miles and stand for long periods during events
  • must maintain a valid passport
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage end-to-end event security for events globally
  • review contracts, manage budgets, draft RFPs
  • draft risk assessments
  • collaborate with global security teams including intelligence, executive protection, regional security operations
  • work closely with event planning teams including executive procedures, logistics, IT, production, food and beverage
  • apply cultural and emotional intelligence
  • display business acumen of client products and services
  • develop, implement, and revise team standard operating procedures
  • provide communications regarding high risk and high visibility events
  • develop and implement long-term security strategies
  • respond to emergencies and incidents in accordance with policy, procedures, or standards of operation
  • maintain situational awareness of global incidents affecting clients
  • coordinate and manage security efforts with private security agencies, venues, and law enforcement agencies
  • assist with business continuity and emergency management related to regional events
  • actively walk and supervise all posts at events to ensure quality expectations and operational standards are met
