Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role
  • familiarity with basic veterinary terms
  • ability to use Avimark or similar veterinary software
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • proficiency in cash handling and payment processing
  • positive attitude and professionalism
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or receptionist role
  • working knowledge of veterinary terminology
  • proficiency with veterinary software systems such as Avimark
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • salesmanship and product knowledge
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work with diverse clients and team members

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls professionally
  • route calls to proper staff members
  • take detailed messages
  • answer inquiries about services with knowledge and courtesy
  • follow clinic policies for scheduling clients
  • prepare required forms including clinical records and consent forms
  • greet and admit medical and surgical patients
  • ensure clients meet financial obligations
  • collect and process payments accurately
  • sell and provide information on retail pet products
  • enter, retrieve, and modify data in the Avimark system
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and clinic areas
  • perform additional duties as required by management
