- prior experience in secretary or receptionist roles
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Job Duties
- coordinates and schedules patients' appointments
- maintains all aspects of patient medical records including scheduling 30-day re-evaluations and re-certifications for Medicare
- records daily patient charges and assists with deposit
- tracks and collects patients' deductibles and copayments
- performs general receptionist and secretarial duties such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and filing
- processes all dictation and forwards to referring doctors including Medicare recertifications
- performs any other duties assigned by the office manager or clinical director
