Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q-level security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cleanroom or specialized cleaning environments
- Physical ability to perform custodial duties and wear cleanroom garments
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background investigation
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, night shifts, and weekends
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and follow safety protocols
- Valid California Driver's License
- Willingness to undergo site-specific safety training
- Ability to perform work at heights using safety harnesses and fall protection equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with cleanroom cleaning procedures or similar specialized sanitation environments
- Skilled in custodial tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and floor care maintenance
- Ability to read, understand and comply with work assignments and safety instructions
- Proficient with basic computer applications including Word, Outlook, Email, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and accept change in assignments
- Ability to wear cleanroom garments and work at heights using fall protection equipment
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q-level security clearance
Job Duties
- Perform general custodial and janitorial tasks including cleaning of cleanroom areas from Class 100,000 to Class 100 cleanrooms following established procedures
- Conduct precision wiping of equipment, furniture, and fixtures to remove sub-micron sized particulates
- Support laundering of reusable cleanroom materials and maintain consumable stock levels
- Operate floor care equipment including mechanical scrubbers, vacuums, floor finish applicators, polishers, and burnishers
- Prepare and submit daily task reports, work control documents, work orders, permits, and inventory checklists
- Use instruments for cleanroom evaluation such as particle counters and swipe analysis
- Maintain custodial equipment in clean, safe condition and follow all environmental, safety, and health protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and communication with coworkers and facility personnel
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
