Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to walk constantly, climb stairs, lift and carry 50 lbs or more
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and event days
  • Ability to comply with all venue safety and security policies
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with the role

Job Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical capability to walk constantly, climb stairs, lift and carry 50 lbs or more
  • Occasional sitting
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Customer service experience is an asset

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise cleaning staff and other employees performing similar services as directed
  • Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints
  • Lead and train staff including assisting in staffing positions to ensure all staff are informed on event-specific details
  • Manage breaks for staff
  • Ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures including safety regulations
  • Participate in the venue's sustainability program by implementing resource conservation and waste prevention efforts
  • Partner with team members at the end of shows to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and properly storing event equipment
  • Oversee productivity and work assignments of cleaning staff and communicate with management about challenges and shift status
  • Assign and schedule team members to specific duties
  • Enforce safety, health, and security duties
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Cleaning Services Manager
