Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years old
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Must engage positively with customers and team members
Job Qualifications
- Retail or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and reaching
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow company procedures and safety guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures
- Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures
- Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back correctly
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment
- Deep clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways
- Maintain and organize cleaning equipment
- Notify supervisor of supply needs
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and complete tasks proactively
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisor
- Perform tasks in compliance with federal, state and county guidelines
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences and perform cash handling
- Engage customers on Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship from Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
