Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work continuously during an eight-hour shift with breaks
- Physical capacity to walk and work outdoors in all weather with provided gear
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- No experience required but willingness to learn and participate in paid training
- Must be proactive and community-oriented
Job Qualifications
- Customer service and hospitality experience preferred
- Prior outdoor janitorial or cleaning work preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for reporting
Job Duties
- Keep sidewalks and streetscapes clean and litter-free
- Remove graffiti and stickers
- Use power washing to make spaces bright
- Maintain visibility and engage in friendly interactions with public space users
- Use smartphone app for ongoing reporting of activities and maintenance
- Take ownership of cleanliness and safety in assigned public spaces
- Address issues that detract from the cleanliness of the area
