Job Requirements
- Applicants must pass a background check drug screen and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U S
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds bending standing and walking for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with students faculty and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus especially in an educational or institutional setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds bending standing and walking for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques equipment and safety procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with students faculty and staff
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping vacuuming dusting and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms replenish supplies
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with university policies
- Report any necessary repairs or safety hazards such as leaks broken fixtures or damaged flooring to your supervisor
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Respond to urgent cleaning needs or spills in a timely manner
- Support sustainability efforts by following recycling and waste management procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support campus operations
