Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management preferred
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to stand for 5-7 hours daily
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
  • Capability for moderate bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and climbing
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions both indoors and outdoors
  • Strong manual dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Excellent communication skills including proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
  • Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management is strongly preferred
  • Computer skills including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to navigate web-based trainings and computer programs
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Determined, ambitious, and self-motivated
  • Team player with a 'we over me' approach to relationships

Job Duties

  • Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing our residents' way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment
  • Build strong rapport with residents of the community
  • Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily
  • Clean office spaces on a regular schedule set by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Using the apartment cleaning checklist, clean vacant apartment homes after each move out
  • Clean and organize the pool house including chairs, public bathrooms, and dusting amenity spaces
  • Remove used towels in the pool area and replace with freshly laundered towels daily
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces and empty public trash cans
  • Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as regularly scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws
