Job Requirements
- Must know how to use common house cleaning implements
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Must have knowledge of infection control procedures
- Ability to work on team tasks and individual assignments
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, and reaching overhead
- Part-time availability for night shift hours
- Willingness to work some weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Clean assigned areas by dusting and damp wiping furnishings, walls, and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors with designated cleaning solutions and disinfectants
- Use appropriate cloths, chemicals, and vacuum cleaner to dust windowsills, blinds, floors, carpets, furniture, and equipment
- Scour and polish sinks, tubs, showers, mirrors, and other equipment
- Replenish supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items
- Gather and dispose of trash, wash wastebaskets and large refuse containers, and reline with plastic bags
- Operate cleaning machines and equipment requiring some mechanical aptitude
