Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 6 months experience in janitorial or cleaning services
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- good oral and written communication skills
- dependable and self-motivated
- ability to work part-time Tuesday through Saturday with flexible hours
- availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- authorized to work legally in the US
- pass a US criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate preferred
- at least 6 months related experience and/or training
- previous experience as janitor, custodian, day porter, or domestic cleaner beneficial
- good oral and written communication skills
- neat appearance
- dependable, self-motivated, and responsible
- stable work history
- ability to work to a high standard
- able to work an irregular schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays for special events
- able to pass a US criminal background check
- authorized to work in the US
Job Duties
- Helps to maintain clean and sanitary conditions inside and outside the venue
- cleans and sanitizes all areas of the building including restrooms, foyer, office spaces, kitchen, and main activity areas
- completes daily tasks such as trash removal, recycling, restrooms, and cleaning public surface areas in food court
- completes weekly or monthly projects including vacuuming carpets, mopping and polishing floors, cleaning windows, and dusting as needed
- restocks products such as soaps, paper products, deodorizers, and sprays
- maintains supply of cleaning chemicals, tools, and related items
- maintains a log of any repair items detected and reports to Operations Supervisor
- follows oral and written instructions
- communicates effectively in both oral and written form
- may assist other Operations Department staff set up and take down special event equipment and materials
- performs all other assigned duties
- works part-time with potential transition to full time if needed
