Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year cleaning or janitorial experience
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Flexible schedule to accommodate various assigned tasks
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Minimum of 1 year of similar work experience
- Ability to follow safety and operational procedures
- Strong communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform physical tasks including moving cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment manually or with hand trucks
- Basic knowledge of using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Job Duties
- Clean the assigned area which could be an aircraft, building, hospital, warehouse, schools, universities, and other facilities
- Duties may include cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dust furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights, and blinds, empty wastebaskets, clean windows, restrooms and other normal cleaning and maintenance duties
- Be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
- Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Notify manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
