Job Requirements
- minimum age as required by law
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- must pass background and drug screening
- availability to work full-time shifts
- adherence to Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous janitorial or custodial experience is an asset but not required
- ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- good physical stamina
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness of the store including parking lots and restrooms
- ensure safety standards are met throughout the facility
- perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste removal
- follow company procedures for hazardous waste and sanitation
- assist with setup and cleanup for special store events
- respond promptly to specific cleaning requests from management
- uphold Walmart’s standards for customer impressions
