Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of recent towing experience within a commercial environment
  • Valid and insurable Class C driver's license
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Physical ability to load, unload equipment and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Strong communication skills
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Drive company trucks or vehicles to deliver or pick up various sized equipment and material throughout Southern California
  • Tow trailers as needed to facilitate delivery of materials
  • Hook-up, attach or disconnect trailers to vehicles
  • Tie-down and inspect cargo ensuring department policies are practiced
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Ensure paperwork and email communication is completed accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and other team members regarding delivery arrival times
  • Perform general yard maintenance and warehouse duties during non-drive time
  • Adaptable to work independently and as part of a team
  • Operate forklifts to move equipment as needed
  • Additional duties will be assigned as needed to support the operations of the department
  • Assist with warehouse and yard duties when not hauling freight
  • Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as needed
