Job Requirements

Minimum of two years of recent towing experience within a commercial environment
Valid and insurable Class C driver's license
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Physical ability to load, unload equipment and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Job Qualifications

Minimum of two years of recent towing experience within a commercial environment
Valid and insurable Class C driver's license
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Strong communication skills
Forklift operation experience preferred
Ability to follow safety protocols
Ability to work independently and in a team
Attention to detail

Job Duties

Drive company trucks or vehicles to deliver or pick up various sized equipment and material throughout Southern California
Tow trailers as needed to facilitate delivery of materials
Hook-up, attach or disconnect trailers to vehicles
Tie-down and inspect cargo ensuring department policies are practiced
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
Ensure paperwork and email communication is completed accurately and on time
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and other team members regarding delivery arrival times
Perform general yard maintenance and warehouse duties during non-drive time
Adaptable to work independently and as part of a team
Operate forklifts to move equipment as needed
Additional duties will be assigned as needed to support the operations of the department
Assist with warehouse and yard duties when not hauling freight
Perform additional warehouse or yard tasks as needed
