Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • One year of commercial driving experience preferred
  • No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to perform physical freight handling tasks
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 am start time

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least 21 years of age
  • One year of commercial driving experience preferred but willing to train
  • Clean driving record with no DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
  • Physical capability to handle freight duties

Job Duties

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
  • Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight
  • Sort, palletize, and reload freight manually or mechanically
  • Complete all required paperwork in compliance with government regulations and company policies
  • Maintain adherence to safety standards and company procedures at all times
