Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum age of 21 years
- One year of commercial driving experience preferred
- No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Ability to perform physical freight handling tasks
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 am start time
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years of age
- One year of commercial driving experience preferred but willing to train
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Physical capability to handle freight duties
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor
- Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
- Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight
- Sort, palletize, and reload freight manually or mechanically
- Complete all required paperwork in compliance with government regulations and company policies
- Maintain adherence to safety standards and company procedures at all times
