Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain
- Ability to safely maneuver freight weighing up to 2,500 pounds with mechanical aid
- Ability to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as hooking/unhooking commercial combinations, manually operating landing gear, and fueling vehicles
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL

- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate mechanical aids for freight handling
- Ability to complete required documentation accurately
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor
- Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
- Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight
- Sort, palletize, and reload freight as required
- Complete all paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
