Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- minimum 21 years of age
- one year of commercial driving experience
- no DUIs or DWIs in the past three years
- no more than three traffic violations in the past three years
- must have or be willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements with renewals reimbursed
- successful completion of pre-employment skills assessment
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- at least 21 years of age
- minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- clean driving record with no DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
- no more than 3 traffic violations in the preceding 3 years
- current or willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements with company reimbursing renewals
- ability to successfully complete a pre-employment skills assessment
- demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and customer service
- physical ability to meet job demands including loading and unloading freight
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
- ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipments
- load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off company motor vehicles at customer locations and terminals
- comply with government regulations and company policies during delivery operations
- maintain open communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding route status
- safely operate commercial vehicles adhering to all safety and traffic laws
