Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Meet state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for last three years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use two-wheeler, lift gate or other equipment to move and stack product cases weighing 60 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months or more of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past three years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases weighing approximately 60 to 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete entry level driver trainee or dock to driver training program as required
- Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and verify customer invoices
- Drive to deliver customer orders according to route schedule
- Unload products and transport items into customer storage areas
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures
- Collect payments where required
- Secure tractor, trailer, and freight at all times
- Unload damaged goods and returns and complete paperwork
- Complete daily record of hours of service and log requirements
- Perform housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areas
- Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
