Job Requirements
- valid class A license
- valid DOT medical card
- at least 5 years of driving experience
- no serious violations in the past 3 years with clear record preferred
- no speeding violations over 15 mph in the past 3 years
- no improper or erratic lane changes in the past 3 years
- no following too closely violations in the past 3 years
- no failure to yield to emergency vehicles in the past 3 years
- no DOT reportable at fault accidents in the past 7 years
- no reckless driving or similar disqualifiers
- no DUI or DWI or similar violations
- no fatal at fault accidents
- no hit and run incidents
Job Qualifications
- valid class A license
- valid DOT medical card
- minimum 5 years of driving experience
- clear driving record with no serious violations in the past 3 years
- knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- ability to operate reefer trailers safely
- strong communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- class A driving pulling a 53-foot reefer to safely make deliveries and return equipment intact following DOT rules and regulations to maintain compliance and tracking
- cover lanes as a relief driver including local deliveries short haul lanes relays yard hostler and regional lanes with weekly home time
- maintain flexibility with schedule working 4 to 6 days per week
- ensure home time every week or daily for local and short haul loads
- adhere strictly to all DOT safety and compliance standards
- communicate effectively with dispatcher and driver manager for route and schedule updates
