Job Requirements
- Must have a valid class A license
- must have a valid DOT medical card
- must have 5 years of experience
- no serious violations in the past 3 years, clear record preferred
- no speeding violations of 15 mph or over in the past 3 years
- no improper or erratic lane change violations in the past 3 years
- no following too closely violations in the past 3 years
- no failure to yield to emergency vehicles in the past 3 years
- no DOT reportable at fault accidents in the past 7 years
- disqualifiers include reckless driving or similar
- DUI or DWI or similar violation
- fatal at fault accident
- hit and run
Job Qualifications
- Valid class A license
- valid DOT medical card
- minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience
- clean driving record with no serious violations in the past 3 years
- knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- ability to follow complex instructions and maintain compliance
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Pull a 53-foot reefer trailer for safe deliveries
- comply with DOT rules and regulations to maintain safety and compliance
- cover various lanes including local deliveries, relays, yard hostler duties, and regional lanes
- maintain vehicle and equipment integrity during the haul
- adapt to flexible schedules with a typical workweek of 4 to 6 days
- ensure weekly or daily home time depending on route assignments
- communicate effectively with dispatch and management
