Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 2 years verifiable CDL A experience in last 5 years
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
- At least 21 years old
- No automatic restrictions on license
- Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card, and endorsements
- No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in last 3 years
- No DUI within last 7 years
- Ability to work in a drug-free environment
- Lift 75lbs regularly and move 125lbs with equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- 2 years of verifiable CDL A experience in the last 5 years
- Current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (X endorsement)
- No automatic restrictions on license
- Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card, and endorsements
- No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances within the last 7 years
- Ability to work in a drug-free environment
- Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with aid of material handling equipment
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- 5 years of tanker experience preferred
Job Duties
- Drive CDL A Dry Van and CDL B Box truck to deliver dry ice to customer's place of business
- Utilize a CDL A tanker truck to pick up and deliver CO2
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice
- Obtain customer signature, ensure piece count matches load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes for return
- Provide customer service and relay feedback to Branch Manager
- Perform pre and post trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklist
- Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements
- Secure cargo prior to and during transit
- Keep the inside of the truck clean
