Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- insurable to operate vehicle
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to work overnight schedules, weekends and holidays
- ability to adhere to food safety and DOT regulations
- basic math skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- able to operate vehicle and equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent degree
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- insurable to operate company vehicles
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- ability to operate a tractor-trailer unit safely
- skill in long distance driving and communicating with customers
- ability to complete necessary documentation accurately
- ability to lift and move heavy products
- effective problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and follow instructions
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart according to customer specifications and company standards
- complete all required paperwork accurately including DOT logs, inspections, and invoices
- ensure food safety protocols are met maintaining proper temperatures and sanitary conditions
- develop and maintain good customer relationships providing excellent and courteous service
- operate tractor trailer safely under varying traffic, weather, and terrain conditions
- maintain vehicle cleanliness and report damages or shortages promptly
- perform other duties as assigned by management
