Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • insurable to operate vehicle
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • ability to work overnight schedules, weekends and holidays
  • ability to adhere to food safety and DOT regulations
  • basic math skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in various weather conditions
  • able to operate vehicle and equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent degree
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • insurable to operate company vehicles
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
  • ability to operate a tractor-trailer unit safely
  • skill in long distance driving and communicating with customers
  • ability to complete necessary documentation accurately
  • ability to lift and move heavy products
  • effective problem-solving skills
  • ability to work independently and follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart according to customer specifications and company standards
  • complete all required paperwork accurately including DOT logs, inspections, and invoices
  • ensure food safety protocols are met maintaining proper temperatures and sanitary conditions
  • develop and maintain good customer relationships providing excellent and courteous service
  • operate tractor trailer safely under varying traffic, weather, and terrain conditions
  • maintain vehicle cleanliness and report damages or shortages promptly
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
