Job Requirements
- Class A CDL license
- Must be able to operate manual transmission
- Must pass Driver's Testing
- Must pass DOT physical and drug testing
- Previous over the road driving experience
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Capable of working in physically demanding environments
- Previous warehouse experience highly preferred
Job Qualifications
- Current and active Class A Driver's license with good driving record
- Prior delivery driver and manual unloading experience
- Familiar with pre and post trip inspections and online log systems
- Proficient in reading and writing English
- Knowledge of basic math and map reading skills
Job Duties
- Load and unload truck as needed
- Drive truck to destination
- Distribute receipts for load picked up
- Occasionally collect payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges
- Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
- Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit
